In Japan, there is a ten-day holiday in spring. It's called 'Golden Week.'
I wanna go somewhere, but Mom says 'No' since the whether is probably not good and all places are crowded.
I'm bored.
Papa: "I wanna go somewhere too! I don't care whether it's crowded!"
"I WANNA GO WITH MY DOG! NOW!"
Mom: "OK, I cannot fight against two boys for more than a week.
Let's go!"
Woof!
"Banzai!"
I don't mind if it is heavy rain.
Woof, it smells like the ocean.
Mom: "We're just 500 meters from our home though."
I don't like Mom.
Anyway, we arrived at Shimoda, which is on the Izu Peninsula.
The beach was just in front of our small hotel!
Woo, Woo, Woof!
Run, run, run!
With Mom.
With Papa.
With a surfer boy.
On the rocks.
Playing in the waves.
Digging a hole to hide my ball.
Hiding the ball.
Eating sand.
Looking at the beach from the window of our room.
At the end of the trip ...
Papa, I love the beach.
Can we come again soon?
Papa: "Yes, of course!"
"Mom indulges you, so ask her using your killer smile, OK?"
OK, Papa.
Mom: "Hey what are you doing there, my two beach boys?"
Mom: "Wow, who are you ..."
Mom, I cannot talk ...
but
I wanna come back here soon again, woof.
Mom: "I love you both very much."

Bobby Lee,
ReplyDeleteYou are such a great-looking beach boy. I want to go to Limantour beach. DMF is planning a trip to the beach when Sammy and Betty and Thom get home from the dog kennel and from Minneapolis. DMF better get organized and energized and get me to the beach!
I love how you dug a hole for your ball. I love to dig holes but I don't care if I lose my ball or if another dog steals it. The other night at the little park, Brutus, the silver/gray chihuahua took my ball many times. He could hardly get his tiny jaws open wide enough to hold it. He and I share the ball. But then Stella, the new big dog on our block who is crazy possessive about balls, swaggered into the park and I dropped my ball because she had told me to once before. I lost the ball and Brutus and I hurried out of the park. Stella better get an attitude adjustment if she wants to play with us. The really annoying part of meeting Stella is that her mom has zero control -- she keeps her on a retractable leash that is not locked so Stella just charges around wherever she wants to go. Stella is going to obedience school soon but it is not Mr. K style.
Oh, well, I'm so glad you had such a great time at Shimoda beach.
Sending you lots of sniffs and woofs!
